We appreciate you taking the time to provide your input on the pool area. Regardless of the route that we take, the Club will incur some higher expenses and debt. We, as your Board, are taking this responsibility very serious. We want to be as transparent as possible, so please feel free to stop and talk with us about this project, should you have any questions or concerns.
Before weighing in on what you would like to see happen with the pool area, we want to inform you of some details we have found throughout our research these last 2 years. We want you to be informed as you make your choice in the survey below. As mentioned, all of the options will take a heavy financial toll on the Club. These options will require the Club to look into taking out a loan for the project, possibly raising dues, and/or even requiring an assessment. Now, before you let these options upset or scare you, please understand that these are keys reasons why this project has taken so long to work out and why we have taken this project so seriously. With that said, below are the price ranges of what it will cost the Club.
Minimum repairs needed for the pool area to open and pass inspection are in the $100,000-$150,000 range. This will fix the cement and draining issues and repair the pool to get us back in working order.
For the Pool and Cement Renovations with Improvements are in the $200,000-$250,000 range. Improvements include extending the length of the pool for a splash and play area for kids, special lighting for evening events and activities, and repairs and improvement to the pool and decking, extending the life of the pool another 30 years.
For no Pool, but outdoor patio for dining, events, and game is expected to be in the $100,000-$150,000 range.
Again, thank you for taking the time to review the information above and taking the time to complete the survey below. Your opinion on this is important to us!
